Product Description At last, a book that reveals--in hilarious, candid detail--what men really think about love, sex, and dating. Sean Thomas was single, thirty-seven, and just "a tiny bit desperate" to meet the woman of his dreams when a men's magazine asked him to try Internet dating for a year and write unflinchingly about his experiences. The result is a painfully funny and gloriously indiscreet diary the Los Angeles Times calls "a hilarious romp through the London dating scene." Thomas lays bare answers to such questions as: Why are so many men fascinated by lesbians? What's so great about pantyhose? And what's it like to have sex with someone really famous? His story will appeal to any woman interested in what men really think about sex and romance, and to any man who's ever taken honest stock of his relationships with the fairer sex.

| Customer Reviews: A fantastic read May 1, 2007 Sean Michael Farren 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is one man's journey to find the brass ring in his life...namely, love.
Sean Thomas' sometimes wistful, often times downright hilarious look at one man's attempt to find love in the technological age is a marvel to read. Filled with witty observations about the world and relationships, Millions of Women Are Waiting To Meet You never fails to disappoint. His prose is at once boastful and yet self deprecating and he fires away at the foibles of each sex with both barrels.
I highly recommend this title for anyone who either has found it or is still looking.
A fine 'must' for any single readers August 5, 2007 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) Author Sean Thomas was single, nearly forty, and determined to meet the woman of his dreams when he was asked by a men's magazine to try Internet dating for a year and write honestly about his experiences. Millions of Women Are Waiting to Meet You is the funny and painful story of his mishaps and encounters with the world of online dating, from women fixated on their pets to one who ended up stalking him. Also included within the memoir - besides a healthy dose of humor and self-examination - are insights on male sexuality and relationship insights that are both poignant and revealing. A fine 'must' for any single readers, and for any who have wondered about the rigors of Internet dating.
A Must For Any Single Male Nearing 40 October 29, 2007 mackey (Wabash, Indiana United States) I really enjoyed this book. last month I began the fifth decade of my existence and am still single. It is scary. Especially for a guy like me who has had very little success with the opposite sex. Some people just have it. Thomas, while revealing his plight of being near 40 and single, still has a lot of stories to tell about sowing his oats. I would recommend this book to any guy. From reading about his experiences I learned that self confidence is something a woman can pick up on. If you don't have it, females are not going to give you the time of day. He also discusses the danger of internet porn and shows how a guy can really make himself look like an idiot for a girl. It is one of those books that are just fun to read. Several months ago I picked up a book by a guy named Dusty White on how to pick up any woman you desire. It was worthless. This book, while not a 'how to' manual, is enough to help some poor guy like me being tossed to and fro upon the sea of lonliness. In short, I highly recommend it.
An enjoyable read, extremely full of confessions! October 4, 2007 Suzanne Amara (MA) This book was a bit more than I bargained for in terms of details---especially personal details from the author's, let's say, intimate life! I felt I needed to hide what I was reading when my teen and pre-teen kids came in the room, and that is not my usual type of reading! However, the book was very well written and interesting, to say the least. It's not really all about internet dating, a lot of it is just about dating (or in some cases, not exactly dating, unless it counts if you pay). It ends on a happy and hopeful note, and I think in general it does a good job pointing out the pros and cons of internet aided relationships. However, do be aware of what you are buying---a pretty explicit book!
Insufferable July 9, 2007 M.P. (Los Angeles) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Really hard to get through, despite the salacious bits throughout. Wish he had written more of a novel with more of a plot, as his writing meanders and the descriptions are laborious and not as clever as he might think. I didn't really find his voice credible anyway, so might as well have been fiction. Nick Hornby he ain't...
