Product Description
Most people have a couple stories about bad dates and failed
relationships, but most people are not stupid enough to publish
their experiences for the entire world to read. Here lie the bare
revelations of one man’s failures at meeting, dating and
developing successful relationships with women.

“My last boyfriend used to tie me up, gag me and get pretty rough.
I left him after six years because I felt he didn’t respect me.”
Christina revealed to me on our second date.

Ilene said “I know what you’re thinking.” I only responded “Yeah?”
“Yes” she said, “you’re looking at my crutches.”
“I don’t think you mentioned that” I answered. “Well” she
explained “I was afraid it would scare you away if you knew about
the amputation.”

Emily confided in me “I have to tell you that I am not a real
woman…but it’s okay.” My response was “How the hell can you
think something like that would be okay?!” Her simple
explanation was “Well I really do like to wear women’s clothing
so it shouldn’t make a difference.”

“A little more alcohol and you’ll probably fall off the boat and
make a fool of me!” I noticed that Lynn suggested my falling off
the boat as more of an inconvenience to her rather than any
actual concern for my safety, but considering what I’d already
put her through today I kept my mouth shut.

I picked up a Bible and began reading verses of interest quietly
to the young boy seated next to me. Yuni surprised the entire
room by jumped up and yelled “Stop whispering things about
me!”

“Now that we are dating I expect you to be a real man and start
paying some of my bills: Maybe my car payment or the rent”
Marie explained to me on our second date.

“I didn’t mean to lead you on by giving you my number” Kassie
cautioned me when I called the number she had given me.

"You breathe too much" my loving wife stated.

5 out of 5 stars An exciting look at another mans dating experiences!   February 15, 2010

Once I started reading "Relationslips", I could not put it down. The cover is what first caught my eye. What is all of this paraphernalia doing on the cover of this book, I wondered. As I read the book, I realized that they represent items in the many interesting and adventurous stories in Adam's life. I can relate to his experiences with girls during his childhood but the stories of Adam as an adult will blow you away. One may have second thoughts about dating, if they thought they might encounter some of the bizarre women in this book. I recommend that you buy "Relationslips". It is a humorous and insightful look into the life of a fellow that is wandering somewhat hopelessly to find Mrs. Right.
I searched the author and found that he has another book called "A Week in the Miserable Life of Lloyd Canard". I bought the book and look forward to reading it this weekend.

5 out of 5 stars Crazy Funny!   May 11, 2010

I loved this book and laughed my butt off throughout. We've all had crazy relationships and we've all been embarrassed by some of our choices, but Pruden may have beat us all! It's a must read for all men, single or married. Enjoy!

4 out of 5 stars Come on, admit it. We've all been there!   February 25, 2010

Adam Pruden obviously embraces the "What, me worry?" mantra as he takes readers on a heart-felt and sardonic ride that nearly all of us have taken at one time or another. What I enjoyed were the hidden surprises, particularly the overly emotional arrival at a date's home in Peru that had everyone literally shaking--everyone but Adam, it seemed. But not without good reason! The author begins his series of vignettes with "A Bumpy Start," but this book is anything but bumpy, from its smooth beginning to its neatly times segues, this candid look back on one man's human foibles it told with an introspective eye garnished with tons of humor and insight. A good read!

4 out of 5 stars Dating tips   June 15, 2010

What a marvelous book! "Relationslips" presents some of the most hilarious and unbelievable dating situations imaginable. This collection of tales is all the more entertaining when you remember that they are all true stories and all from one poor guy's own experiences. "Relationslips" is a very interesting read. Although this book may not aid by providing useful dating tips, it can be helpful to show that bad dates and failed relationships are both common and easily survivable. I highly recommended this book to anyone who has dated, plans to date or is sitting at home alone wishing they were on a date: you might just change your mind!
